Please Please Please do not rent an apartment from this man! He is a scumbag, worst landlord I've ever had. Where do I even begin...I moved in with 3 other people, we were all recent college graduates working in Providence, not once did he make it clear to us that we were moving into a student neighborhood and the rest of our apartment consisted of JWU students. THe kids below us partied and blasted rap music every single night till 2 in the morning, and I don't just mean the weekend, I mean Monday Tuesday Wednesday etc... We confronted them a number of times and it never got better so we finally attempted to get Court involved and he did nothing. It got to the point to where we had to go to a lawyer and threaten to break our lease and move out because he wasn't fulfilling his responsibilites as landlord. Finally that got him to step in and we worked out a compromise with the kids below us, I guess it was better than nothing. If you want anything in your apartment repaired good luck. It takes at least 4 or 5 text messages and calls to get this guy to answer you and when he does he'll give you attitude and make it seem like it was your fault. After it was pretty obvious we wouldn't be renewing our lease he began showing our apartment. He shows up multiple times a week, sometimes 3 or 4 times a day unnanounced, no warning whatsover. Then he begins just giving out my number so now I've got random people texting me asking if I'm home so they can come check out the apartment, so now I'm doing this guys job for him??? Finally after the nightmare was over and we move out, he sends us our deposits. First of all, he sends the entire deposit to one person rather than individually. I live in a different state now so I gotta track down my old roommate to find out how much I got back, which for all I know he could be completely lying to me. When I text Court to confirm the amount I got back just to be sure of course he doesn't respond. Apparently I only got 28 dollars back out of 410 because of 300 dollars in late fees and some cleaning fees. He never said anything about late fees prior to moving in and I was late on my rent probably 2 times by about a day give me a break. He's an absolutely horrible human being who takes advantage of students and young people, do yourself a favor and pay a few extra bucks and save yourself from this nightmare.
