In one word - Slumlord. This guy seems so nice when you meet him and says he will be there all the time and will deal with all your problems - well he lives in WAYLAND MASS - a totally different state and about an hour to hour and a half away. You call him - he never responds. We had a Broken hot water tank - maybe be lucky to get it fixed within 3 weeks like us. The place seemed so great - rent was cheaper than the other units around and on such a prime street - that should have been the dead give-away. First things first, the apartment was FILTHY when we moved in. There was still old moldy food in the fridge, but we said nothing and just cleaned it because we didnt want to cause a problem. When winter came, the unit cost almost $400-500 a month to heat. We had been told it would be less than half that, and we kept it at 65 degrees most of the time. The worse though was that we had cold showers for the whole month in the middle of winter due to an issue with the hot water heater. We had about 10 mice that scurried in and out of the apartment all day, eating all our food and one even scurried out of my bed one day and left me some nice little terd presents. I know Fed Hill is close to the restaurants so mice didnt surprise me, but when we complained there was never a response or even an acknowledgement. One of our friends got broken into and it took almost a week to get someone out to secure their busted up door - that seemed ridiculous. Lots more issues, but we kind of gave up after a while.... We have since rented in the same area and not had any of the same issues, so I know this isnt the norm... with all landlords.... But watch out!
