| [24-Aug-2014] | First, the move in. Our apartment was dirty, the ceiling above the bathtub was crumbling. I had to clean our apartment before we could move in. There is a HUGE mold problem. While living there, our toilet needed to be replaced, but first he sent some sketchy man he found on Craigslist to fix it that showed up at 10 at night...in Albany. All of his maintenance people were found on random Craigslist ads. Now for the subleasing, we had to do. We lost two potential tenants because of his pushy behavior, constantly calling them to the point they bailed. We got a subleaser the day we moved. Thank God we received half of our deposit from the subleaser before we left. We are still waiting for the half Absar owes us, which he said he mailed. He has not returned texts, emails, or phone calls since saying he mailed it. He is a horrible slumlord. Don't ever do business with him. Hands down the worst mistake of the Albany experience. |
