I agree with what others have said - renting from this man is nothing short of aggravating. He will do whatever he can to save a penny - at his tenant's expense. He constantly says one thing, but does another. Do not deal with him verbally. Insist that everything be in writing. He conveniently "forgets" everything he said he would do. Document every minor defect when you move in because he will try and charge you for anything he can. He will take advantage of you if you don't have something documented. Avoid him at all costs. Terrible landlord, terrible person.
