He doesn't deserve the harassment he gets. If you read many of the negative reviews of Mr. Absar, they are of frustrated tenants who have had something "bad" happen to them. However, keep in mind that tenants who are satisfied with Mr. Absar generally DO NOT go on ratemylandlord and make reviews (And he manages a lot of units - only 19 reviews considering he's been in the business for a while? HMMMMMMMMMMMM). My Primary Point: If people complain of Mr. Absar to be a horrible landlord, they have never, EVER rented from your stereotypical "slumlords" and are, to an extent, very entitled. Wow someone (Mr. Absar) made a mistake? WOOOOOOW he's a person. He manages many properties. If you can't empathize with someone who owns a business, you need to increase your emotional quotient. Have patience with Mr. Absar and you'll see that many of the problems listed on ratemylandlord are LARGELY hyperbolized. He made a mistake and you bombarded him with emails and texts? Have you ever considered how you would feel if you were bombarded with a bajillion messages and emails? I treated Mr. Absar with respect and understanding and GUESS WHAT? I have no complaints about him as a landlord... I WONDER WHY? Also, don't let the "disabled veteran" review deter you. Give Mr. Absar a chance... treat him with respect... remember that he's a person just like any of his tenants... he's a very decent and understanding landlord.
