| [01-Feb-2017] | DO NOT RENT FROM ABSAR BHATTI. As many others here have said, he is a nightmare to work with and you will have to fight tooth and nail to get your security deposit back. I left my apartment in July 2016 (clean and in better condition than I found it). It is Feb 2017 and I still do not have my deposit back. I wrote him multiple emails and called him many times, and each time he made an excuse and said that he was placing my deposit in the mail. Except, that was a complete lie, and he clearly had no intent to return my deposit. I have a small claims court date with him soon. He now screens my phone calls and does not answer my emails. I have been a perfect tenant...I prepaid my rent early 6 months in advanced, was quiet, allowed them to come in and show the apartment SO many times ( about 15-20 times) before I moved out, and he has been nothing but a lying, disrespectful, evil person. He takes advantage of people and hopes that they don't have the resources to take him to court (he rents to many students, people who aren't from the area, people who don't speak English as their first language, and he just preys on them). He may be the first truly evil person I have ever encountered. Learn from all of these negative comments and take them seriously. Save yourself the stress and don't rent from Absar! I also had BAT in my apartment within one week of living there and he never had any professional company come in an inspect nor had any type of animal control come in and search for the animal. He sent his lousy handyman 24 hours after i reported it to look for it and he never found anything and just gave up. I actually had to spend a night in a hotel since i could not stay in the apartment with the bat flying around which I got no compensation for. |
