[09-Sep-2014] Dan and Jen Chabbot are slum lords, pure and simple. I've rented many apartments in Keene and have positive relationships with all past landlords. This apartment is truly disgusting, totally drafty (oil heat! And you're practically forced to buy oil from the family business, Chabbot Coal and Oil, lol) and has an extremely low electrical amperage, resulting in frequent blown fuses and astronomical electric bills- it's a wonder City of Keene Code Enforcement hasn't caught up to these guys yet, my word! Don't rent from them as working professionals and don't rent this apartment for your college-aged children, especially if your tetanus shots aren't up-to-date.
