[09-Dec-2014] AMI Property Management, LLC - owner Amalia Iglesias. Do not rent from her! Am a former renter, 12 +yrs. When she does repairs she does them herself & quality is poor to worthless. Door knob on front door would not turn when she was done fixing it, it only turned part way. When the light on the porch stopped working she called in professionals because Her partner tried to repair the porch light and got shocked. She ups your rent every year for improvements. Improvements are repairs that she can't do herself, i.e. Dishwasher, porch light, things she has to call someone to do. She doesn't fix everything you request. Threshold that rotted & was dangerous to step on, she never came to fix.
When I decided to move she found out and lied to me saying I had to move she was selling the place. It's been 4 months & people still living in the other 1/2 of the double. My deposit, she charged us to de flea both sides. We have cats that never go out the other side had dogs yet she charged us. she claimed to be fair yet when we called the place she used to "de flea" they told us she is a regular & uses them on all of her places, whether or not needed. She Charged us to remove rope caulking. She also charged me for things left by former tenant, nails above the windows that I just took advantage of & used. She will take you for every penny she can when you move out.
There were holes where you could see outside around the doors & windows. From the non working fireplace on first floor I could see to the basement. From the kitchen near the back door I could also see to the basement and to outside. Cold air poured in during the winter & hot air poured in during the summer. BTW, sewage often backed up into basement. |
