[24-Apr-2020] This landlord found any and all reasons not to return our security deposit. Despite living at his residence for four years and having him walk through the property yearly to assess the state of the residence, he kept 100% of our deposit and charged us an extra $200 for normal wear and tear items, including, but not limited to, paint. He also has a paragraph in his lease that mandates the tenant pay for mediation if the tenant is unsatisfied with his decision before being able to take him to court. Renter beware. |
