[22-May-2015] The residence was not clean upon move in and smelled of cat urine. We had to deep clean everything before we could put anything away. The landlord seemed dismissive when I arrived to pick up the keys prior to moving in and left quickly, as if I were interrupting his day. After move in, I sent repeated emails (his preferred form of communication) about repairs and eventually had to contact the city (on two separate occasions) to force him to complete them. Some other emails went ignored. The electrical wiring is outdated and the residence could not handle many electronic things at once, so we were often blowing breakers on something as simple as a hair dryer. Overall, the location is nice, but I would never again rent from Apex Realty, nor would I use them as my realtor for purchasing a property.
