COMMENTS (1)
[27-Jul-2015] The owner/landlord performed no maintenance or upgrades during our 4 year tenancy. Innumerable systems in the house are failing including HVAC and plumbing. All appliances with in the property are original to the house, as is the AC unit and heater (of which failed upwards of 7 times during our tenancy despite our diligence). The owner/landlord was often unavailable and unresponsive for extended periods of time (for instance, a downspout had fallen off the facade of the house and the landlord took 11 months -- months, that is not a typo -- to correct this issue). Through the final months of our lease term, the landlord and her agents entered the property without any advanced notice on multiple occasions. Although the neighborhood is quiet and relatively safe, the neighbors in the community are largely unwelcoming. Parking is plentiful, but the house itself and the neighborhood leave much to be desired, issues with the landlord aside. I would avoid this property, regardless of the incentives offered by the owners. It may seem appealing to have an absentee landlord, but in the end you will regret the decision.
