| [29-Aug-2015] This woman goes by the business name of Places Unlimited, LLC. She has properties all over Southeast Iowa. She will not return phone calls unless it means more money in her pocket. The place she has in New London, Iowa has a roof in such bad shape it is causing water damage in apartments. It has caused mold (black) in the walls through out the building. She paints over the mold and damage before re-renting the units. She refuses to fix anything by putting it off. She has evicted people with only a 24 hour notice. She enters apartments without prior notice. If she gets your cell number she harasses you. Complained about broken lock on apartment door and she said it wasn't in the budget to replace the lock (charging $450/month rent). Apartment left with animal urine and feces saturating the floor, she painted over the animal waste, and laid 'wood' laminate over it. She allowed tenets in another building in West Point, Ia to go over a month with no water when pipes froze and burst. She ignored all calls due to being on vacation in Cancun. After tents moved out she called them harassing and threatening them for daring to move out. A tree fell on the building, that she knew needed to be removed for threat of falling, destroying a whole section of it and crushed the tenets bed. She had a quick, slipshod replacement wall put in, and refused to replace the tenets bed. The building is also infested with roaches and bees. This woman is the landlord from the bowls of hell. | |
