[18-Apr-2017] It took this landlord 9.5 months after me moving out to reimburse my deposit, and even then he didn't reimburse the full amount.
He failed to issue an itemized list of deductions within 30 days, an in NM this means he is legally required to reimburse the full amount.
I had to threaten to sue him to get him to reimburse a portion of what he owed me.
He has had at least 2 other lawsuits regarding the deposit reimbursement and none of my roommates got their deposits back.
I would strongly advise against renting with this landlord. |
