COMMENTS (1)
[02-Mar-2008] This landlord ridiculously expected us to keep our windows closed during nice weather. Her excuse was that the building was losing heat. She even threatened to turn our heat off, which is never on to begin with because she controls the heat to each apartment. Our bedroom window was LEAKING terribly this past winter. It was to the point where even the walls were crying with melted snow and looked like they were going to cave in. Luckily, we had our lamps and alarm clocks plugged into surge protectors, otherwise, there would have been a fire from the torrent of water that gushed into our bedroom. We telephoned the landlord about the leak, but she never returned our calls.
