[06-Sep-2018] Repair that needed to be made one day one? “You can go ahead and repair that yourself.
Fee incurred were never vocalized to us and there was little to no communication during our residency.
We were accused of having a dog that “scratched all the doors” first I had to have a maintance person, who was more familiar with the unit than Hazel, tell Hazel it was their previously. Then I had pictures from day one when I moved in, and I told her she could feel free to see any video footage to see if I ever had a dog in the unit. I don’t know anyone with a dog and I don’t own one.
Hazel was not there for the first day of inspection
Hazel bulldog’ed us to move out 7 days early.
Upon check out inspection, I was not greeted with a “hello” or a “hows it going” Hazel walked in, pushing past me and began what felt like a sales tactic level haggling for what I should pay for. 1 paint chip lead her to tell me “the whole room is damaged” while I was under the impression that a fresh coat of paint would be applied to the walls upon move out either way, I agreed I would paint it myself.
In a perfectly clean bathroom, and well kept, there had been mold growing under the privacy film on the shower door. An area I had no access too and the mold was clearly the result of a shabby installation job and lead to moisture to build under the seal. There was nothing I could do besides not shower to avoid this. I was charged hundreds to repair the shower door.
Hazel treated us subhuman when talking to us and was very condescending. I don’t recommend renting but the building is amazing and we enjoyed the unit outside of our landlord |
