[28-Sep-2018] The property is really beat up and you can tell the landlord doesn't care about it at all. Please be very very careful before renting this place. They did not return the security deposit for several months until I hired a lawyer/paralegal. Even then, they did not return the whole thing, even though it was in much better shape than it was in before. I would actually video record the entire house before signing a lease with these people ensuring that every single lie they tell cannot be backed up.

Everything is really old. Termites were all over the place. Direct neighbors were terrible. We were BBQing one day and they called the sheriff stating that we were doing drugs. The sheriff's ended up eating a little bbq with us as they rolled their eyes and just laughed.

For the record, it could possibly be a great house and an even better rental unit. Unfortunately, they just don't take care of their property. And they definitely don't care about their tenants. Asked multiple times to fix all the leaks in the house and they just ignored it.

Stove is probably from the 80's. As is the oven. Microwave is nice and brand new. Dishwasher is brand new but its the crappiest one. Tried all sorts of different soaps and it didn't clean any of the dishes. All the stairs were falling apart. Wooden floorboards were falling apart. The sink in the bottom bathroom leaks. And in the master bedroom, the shower leaks a lake on to the floor every time you use it. Master toilet leaks and flushes on its own every 5 minutes. It is super loud. Garage door is really old and barely works. The side wooden fence door beside the garage doesn't close because whoever put it in made the door too big. So anyone can walk in to the backyard and hang out. And half of the electrical sockets in the house don't work. Or, the sockets are so old that if you plug something in, the cord just falls out. Pretty terrible.

One thing they do care about is the yard. From the outside, the house is amazing. The fig tree in the back is the largest and most plentiful one I have ever seen in my life. The lemons from the lemon tree are juicy and amazing. The oranges from the orange tree are kind of gross.

On another note, tell them to take everything from out of the house. They left random stuff in the house and we left it in a box for our lease. Then they blamed us stating that we "stole" their items. Make them empty out everything so that none of this confusion takes place for you.
