COMMENTS (1)
[08-Oct-2018] Absolutely under no circumstances should you rent from Vera Chawla. Not only does she threaten us over email when we ask for essential repairs, she speaks down to us, ignores our calls/emails for weeks, and refuses to make repairs. For a few examples of issues: the AC broke three times within the first two months of moving in and we had to pay twice ourselves, she has refused to fix a ceiling that fell in on my bed and it is still not resolved, multiple leaks in the roof, we had to pay OURSELVES to replace every outlet on the first floor, a refrigerator with missing parts, and electrical circuits that are against DCRA housing code and pose a serious daily risk to our safety. She and her property manager Eli are the worst people I have ever met, lie to our faces and try to scam us out of everything. DO NOT RENT FROM VERA AND SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT HOW TERRIBLE SHE IS
