[24-Jun-2019] Worst landlord I ever had in my life! His name is Ali Abbas.
He had several apartment units in Fenton, MO, USA. He called himself as a property manager but he ia actually the landlord. His company is names as Ali & Monfort II
I had very bad experience with this guy:
1. On the 1st day I live in, I was working with Ali till night and moved into the APT. However the Apt shower switch is really hard to turned on so I can't take shower. I called him but he pissed off saying he already worked overtime on my case. Well it is your own property and it has lots of problems, should I call you to solve the problems?
2. After moving in, I have to be like an inspection guy to check all sorts of problems in the APT. I have to create a whole of checklist of the problems I found to ask him to repair everything. It tooks him almost 2 years to finish most of the repairs.
3. Everytime I asked him to do some repairs, it always take a very long time for him to reply (usually more than 2 weeks even for things in emergency). Many times it is probably easier to make those repairs yourself.
4. After I leave he send me a bill to ask me pay for pretty much all the cleaning, repair fees from my deposit(which only left me 10 dollars!). Such as cleaning the 30 year old stain his 30 year old carpet! On the first day I moved in, the stain was there and I did indicate to him. Also he said he was ok if I have some nail holes on the wall but finally he asked me to pay several hundred dollars for those nail holes!
5. Moreover, sometime he will enter our unit(especailly my roommate's room) without permission! My roommate had a camera to record this and this is the reason why we know that!
6. Finally after leaving, I found out from realtor.com that his unit is smaller than what he indicated on his website. (he indicate 895spft but it is actually only 864spft!.)
Overall, if you want your life easier, don't go with Ali Abbas. His greedy, dishonisity and unprofessional behavior will bring your nothing but troubles. |
