[05-Aug-2008] Monica and Roger Lind of Fairway Greens Apartments in Phoenixville PA are cartoons of the rapacious, exploitative, negligent slumlord. They are worthy of a story by Charles Dickens or Upton Sinclair. These sociopaths will steal every dime that the law allows them to take from you, and even try to push it a little further. You rent from them, your deposit is gone. They need the money because, as Roger told me, he cannot work with other people to hold down a job. The Linds will leave the house a shocking slop hole for you to move into. Roger even left his feces in the toilet for us upon move in. Though if you rent from them, which I cannot discourage strongly enough, they may tell you they're going to make repairs, that will never happen. They refuse on principle to repair anything, or to reimburse you if you repair anything. They barge into the house and never give notice. If they break windows in one of their scorched-earth tree buzz-sawing frenzies, they will never fix them. They build mud pits in the side yard, while Roger insanely rambles on at you about how you should be in cahoots with him against the neighbors. Screaming, they threaten to evict you if you ask them to redress the flooded basement cracked, rotted windows, junkyard fridge, and absence of cabinets. They cannot communicate at all. They can only scream into cellphones from the SUV (Monica) and ramble aggressively, psychotically, and incoherently for hours (Roger). Nothing is worth the nightmare of renting from these trolls. I am an absolutely sane and nice professional who has rented for nearly 20 years, with excellent landlord relationships and references, and never before have I encountered such vermin, whose every intention is to make a buck by screwing renters, and who can't just stop there, but also misanthropically entertain themselves by harassing renters (it's how they keep their marriage/economic partnership alive). Save yourself, and do not rent from the Linds. These are the parasites of the early 2000s housing bubble and you are just a potential victim to them.
