[02-Jan-2020] Good landlord UNTIL you move out. He expects the renter moving out to make the unit perfect for the new tenant. Deep cleaning, painting, rug cleaning....even after we rented for five years, we were charged for painting and rug cleaning. the most egregious offense is that he charges for "lost revenue" if he has to do ANYTHING that keeps him from renting the unit THE NEXT DAY. We had a 2800.00 deposit and not only did we not get any of that back, he had the nerve to charge us for items that were overpriced and cleaning that should be done by a landlord, not the tenant. I have never had a landlord not clean and update his/her property. And I certainly have never heard of charging for "lost revenue". Unconscionable. |
