[06-Aug-2008] Niall's from a small CA landlord dynasty, but they are a progressive couple who've rented for years, so together this helps to make Niall and Ali of Sagelbd (aka Endalu) the creme de la creme of landlords. They're not super-rich, but they have enough money for upkeep, and they're empathetic and have a proper vision of good living for all. They fix the well-located, modest apartments up all Oregon energy efficient-like, and in good taste, with bamboo or hardwood floors, and native or climate-appropriate plantings outside, so you're not blowing your income out the windows or suffering daily with ugliness. They'll let you make modifications such as painting the apartment, and planting flowers. They select nice tenants, so you have very pleasant, even helpful neighbors. Niall and Ali are pleasant themselves. They do it all by the book, and they give your whole deposit back. It's hard to do better than to rent from these people.
