[24-Jul-2020] THIS WAS A NIGHTMARE FOR OUR FAMILY. We are happy to speak with you in person. We have nearly 200 emails, dozens and dozens of phone calls, thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours lost in the maintenance of this home where almost from the moment we moved in until the time we moved out we were in a constant state of negotiation with the owners to fix most appliances, the air conditioning, doors (including front door and garage door as well as internal "barn doors) that broke, fell off, collapsed or lost their locks. What's more, the previous tenants who we happened to locate when we found service repair receipts when we were moving out had the exact same experience. We are currently working with a lawyer to try to get our damage deposit back but don't have much hope because housing laws in TX do not protect tenants. The upstairs gets to nearly 100 degrees in the summer when the air conditioner breaks - three times during our two years there. The warranty company says it needs to replaced, but the Sun's won't agree. The time, money, psychic energy and heartache we endured during the period of our lease was the worst experience we have ever had and we move frequently because we work internationally. We were trapped and there wasn't a thing we could do.
