[22-Oct-2021] The landlord lives in Ireland and is too cheap to pay for proper property management. He is in an ongoing legal battle with the condo association; the neighbors can't stand him. He made racist comments to me about the maintenance people he sent to the apartment to work on things. He violated the lease and cost me thousands of dollars by scaring off a potential roommate when he demanded an additional security deposit that was not in the lease. He called me with unnerving frequency "to check in." I believe he is unstable. Four months after I moved out, he finally refunded less than one third of the security deposit I was owed. Cool apartment, but a total nightmare. Stay away.
