COMMENTS (1)
[22-Aug-2022] At the time of move in was told by HER realtor that the floors was going to be replaced until we made our offer, then she changed her mind & held the money. We paid more than the listing price not to mention 4 months up front to get in this place due to the COVID circumstances lately. The floors never got replaced & became worse. Issues with the water, Polypiling along with black specks that was causing us to get sick. & unable to use BRAND NEW bathtub. It took 4 plumbers & 5 months to get "fixed". That is why they want you to have "renters insurance" but that does not include water damage, read fine lines. VERY HEARTLESS & GREEDY!! The area was also very unsafe. Cars crashing into parked cars right next to us, shootings, break in on porches or homes, & police chases in the neighborhood. She gave us less than 30 days notice about $600 increase, tried working with her because we both have great jobs, she would not budge. She had her son contact us & even threaten us more than once even after moving out. At the time of the move out inspection, she freaked out & pushed the other renter due to him taking photos of the floors she never replaced. The entire process was a nightmare. Was told she spoke no English at the beginning, she showed up unannounced & spoke English clear enough to understand. It was clear she preferred only to speak to Spanish people which made things very difficult. She also claimed to believe strongly in God. & would send us text message scriptures at the end instead of actually communicating. The neighbors are also extremely loud & you will hear banging in the main bedroom in the middle of the night due to the neighbor & her lovers.... Walls are very thin. Also had flooding issues near the front door. Bugs were a big issue due to the issue with the floors never being replaced. Hope this helps anyone to find a place that respects you & wants the best for you & their property. Very unfortunate. Both our relator & hers tried to talk it out with her, but she refused to budge.
