[05-Feb-2024] The slum landlord is unprofessional, do not expect her to notify you when construction occurs. If you report frequent work orders, she will ignore you. She is a slumlord, she doesn't take preventive care maintenance seriously and will delay repairs longer than 30 days, important ones like mail delivery this has been an issue twice first did not repair the mailbox then recently not providing a new gate key both taking over a month, rust in the bath tub spot spray painted, performs unpermitted renovations, uses a handyman that seems like he practices instead of knowing how to properly fix or things by code, you will not be secure either, other tenants will leave the garage open at all times because they're too lazy to close the garage or do not have enough garage fobs so they think leaving it open is okay even if there are signs to remain closed. The other tenants use the laundry machines around the clock and you will never get a chance to use it nor will she address that kind of issue. What she looks for is a tenant who sucks up to her so she can feel power, but the trouble with that is because the other tenants do not report heavy leakage of a washing machine, the entire garage smells like sewer so the entire building accumulates of work orders because they're to scare or illegal to report building repairs and just allow it regardless of their tenant rights. They will continue to use a heavily leaking washing machine without consequence, even if the machine is vomiting, even when I notify her, she left it like that for almost a year, it still leaks today. There are garage ceiling leaks, fire door and fire escape safety issues that she ignores by painting over and you can still see the leaks. There is also an uncontrolled infestation of mice in the building that she refuses to take care of, the fire door is propped open, the entire building is a code nightmare. Everything is outdated, cheap stovetop barely works. The garbage bins are not enough and get filled quickly nor are they power washed. It is not a cleanly building and it is poorly maintained.
