[03-Nov-2010] This woman is horrible to rent an apartment from. She stands over your shoulder getting in your way while moving in and out of the apartment throwing in her two cents on what to do and how to do it, yet never helping. If you do not intend on helping then just leave. You're just getting in the way and annoying everyone who is actually doing something. Also, she takes it upon herself to go into your apartment when you are not there and snoop around. I constantly had to hide my things, and twice realized that things were missing from my apt. Not only that, but she will sit in her car outside of the building spying on the tenants, and she will remain there for hours on end. She just watches who is coming and who is going. I'm also pretty sure she bugged my apt. when I lived in her building. There were things that she had said to me, that there should have been no way for her to know aside from if I told her (which I didn't) or if she were listening in on my phone conversations, or conversations I would have to people that came over. She is extremely rude and has no problem judging you right to your face. On more than one occasion, she has called me names straight to my face. To top all of this off, she has shown up at not only my place of employment but my parents house (which I have NO idea how she knows where they live, but am actually a little scared about that one), because she said she needed to talk to me. HELLO!!! HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF A PHONE????? She is a psychotic stalker who goes through her tenants trash bags to make sure that they are recycling. (Yes, I'm serious, she went through everyone in the buildings trash bags and then went around door to door to see who had the white trash bag with red drawstrings, so she could scald them about recycling) Now I am an advocate for recycling, but come on, that's a little insane. After I left her building (which was a few days before the end of the month) she did not return the portion of the rent that was due back to me. I called her about this, but, no return phone call. Also, I had to call Peco to cancel my gas, and the woman from Peco said that I had to get in touch with my landlord and then call them back to finish taking the gas out of my name. I called Julie several times from my cell phone and left her messages to which she did not return, so then I called her from another number, continuing to leave her messages, to which she still did not return. I find it funny that she has the audacity to tell me that I have to grow up, when she will not even return a phone call. And not to mention, she speaks poorly on all of her tenants...TO HER OTHER TENANTS. And I have to grow up?? In conclusion, if you like to have people snooping through your things, listening to everything you say, stalking you and where your families live (OH!, she also takes down the license plate numbers of anyone who comes into the building) and lastly, calling you absurd names to your face, then she is the landlord for you. If you prefer to feel safe and secure in your apartment, then I would look elsewhere. Good luck and I hope you choose to never live for Julie Geiger!!
