| [12-Apr-2011] This landlord rented apartments with obvious sanitation code violations, including cross-metering. Repairs took upwards of 5 months of continued requests (both written and verbal), and finally a call to the BOH. Landlord failed to complete a Statement of Condition, or correctly deposit security in a separate bank account, then failed to return it within 30 days. Landlord allowed know rodent and bird infestations to continue without remedy for our entire tenancy. Landlord's response to most complaints is that he's been doing it that way for 20 years and no one else had a problem with it, so why change now? Landlord is completely ignorant of even basic landlord/tenant laws, and runs afoul of them at every turn. |
