[05-Apr-2012] It is difficult and frequently impossible to reach this office by phone. I live out of state and calling is my only option but this morning I was disconnected 4 times without talking to anyone requiring me to call back three times. On the 4 calls I went through 20+ menus, was put on hold 3 times and, when I (by chance?) did get someone on the line she wouldn't (couldn't?) acknowledge that their phone system needs attention. She explained that I was being disconnected because I wasn't following their prompts. (I was following their prompts to the letter.) I also brought to her attention that the option to leave my number and schedule a call back time doesn't work. I've attempted it twice and did not get a call back either time. Her explanation was that this wasn't possible because the call backs were automatic and if I didn't answer the phone the system went on to the next call. I couldn't tell if she had not understood that my experience indicated otherwise (twice) or if she was on script or if she was being deliberately obtuse. At any rate, if you're in the Boston area (I, unfortunately, am not) it might be more practical to bypass the telephone and visit the office instead.
