| [05-Jul-2012] Tom did not fix one thing that we brought to his attention. When our water heater rusted through, he brought one from another property that his repair man told us he knew leaked. All of this so he didn't have to deal with it until he got back from his evening out. He also accused us of having this all pet up so we could make him pay for a hotel so my lies could have got water!! It rusted through from age- how presumptuous of him. The basement had many different kinds of mold-including black mold. I have asthma and told him about this numerous times and the leaks were never fixed and the mold got worse. We had to buy our own carpet shampooer to get the excess water out of the carpet as he did nothing. The refrigerator leaked constantly - no fix. The front window was broken the whole time we lived there - no fix. The good was not cleaned at all and was supposed to be taken off the damage deposit when we cleaned. He actually charged us half a months rent to be there cleaning. We didn't Move in until two weeks later and the cleaning was done. It took me 8 hours to clean the carpets he swore to me he scrubbed 3times. The water looked like used motor oil. This house made my x.ole family have respiratory issues and we were never compensated for the work we did as he said he would. I know for a fact he has other properties that are having the same issues and they are being told the same lies about fixing this and has yet to do so. He just keeps putting you off so he can collect his rent-which he is ALWAyS there on time to get. I hope this helps someone's decision to move into one of his properties so their life isn't a living Hell like ours was. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
