[03-Apr-2013] Without a doubt, the worst landlady I've ever had. Be forewarned, she comes across very sweet, caring, and accommodating, but she's a sneaky, shady, snake. We left the property in better condition than when we moved in and she assured us she would return our security deposit in full within a week of moving out, then began to make a number of excuses as to why she couldn't get it to us. Each excuse became increasingly nasty, culminating in a flat out refusal to send us our deposit or explain why she is keeping it, as our lease - and the law - requires her to do.
While we were in the house, she would not send out appropriate contractors to repair any problems, which generally meant the work was done poorly and we would have to correct the problem ourselves. Anytime she owed us money for such repairs, it was a nightmare trying to get it from her. She likes to share her drama with you, as if that justifies any of her actions.
If you can find another place to rent and another landlord, do so. If not...I am so sorry. Prepare to be screwed.
