| [15-Jul-2013] Ken Tesconi did not tell us about mold prior to moving in and then tried to blame it on us. We talked to previous tenant who confirmed mold existed before our tenancy. My family and I were consistently sick while living there. Ken Tesconi had unqualified repair man tear into wall where mold was found all over dry wall. The repair man ripped it out while me, my 3 small children, and an elderly person were just a few feet away. Ken refused to put us up in a hotel. Proper remediation of the mold was never carried out. Ken Tesconi took out our swamp cooler because of mold and did not supply adequate cooling afterwards. Ken Tesconi retaliated against us numerous times for acting lawfully. One example among many includes a time when prospective buyers came in and asked us multiple questions about the property. The issue of mold came up and he retaliated with legal threats. Ken Tesconi carries a firearm on him that he showed to us and bragged of his affiliation with the mob on numerous occasions. Ken Tesconi hired countless "repair men" off craigslist that did poor repairs and among them were drug addicts. In addition the units are for sale so many people showed up to look at it and agents threatened to come in when we weren't home. He also showed up countless times unannounced. In conclusion there was very little privacy living there. Ken Tesconi failed to respond promptly to needed repairs and failed to make sure the repairs were properly taken care of. In addition he tried to blame us every single time for every repair. Ken has showed up without notice(weeks after repair request) while I was working from home and then sent a letter stating we did not allow for repairs. In addition the property is in poor condition. My mother in law tripped and injured her face very badly due to the very uneven concrete outdoors. Railings to stairs were never finished or in good conditions. Ken Tesconi led us to believe we would receive a copy of lost keys without any stipulation. One day when we had to leave because of outside obligations we put a simple and removable lock on the gate outside. Ken proceeded to demand 100+ dollars to remedy the situation after that. In conclusion we went without keys for almost 2 months and could not leave unit unattended. I hope that someone finds this useful. Especially a family looking to live here. This is only the half of it. Look elsewhere if you want to live in peace and enjoy your life. | |||||||||||||||
