| [21-Sep-2013] Worst landlord ever! This woman actually STAGED A BREAK-IN in the house I rented in an effort to get me to move out so she could raise the rent by a couple hundred dollars instead of the 5% per year which is allowed by law. When that didn't work, she shattered the glass top of my patio table. Then she served me with a "notice to quit" my lease which only gave me 3 weeks to find a new place. The police caught on to her pretty quickly but unfortunately couldn't press charges because there wasn't enough evidence. This woman is psychotic! I was the perfect tenant for over THREE YEARS. Always paid my rent on time and in full. Took exceptional care of her property (mowed the lawn, planted flowers, made small repairs myself, etc.). In return for being a good tenant I had to not only deal with above mentioned nonsense but also, I often went without heat for days during the coldest days of winter because she didn't want to pay someone to come out after hours or on the weekends. Mice problem? Argue with her for weeks to get her to handle it or do it yourself. Could care less about upkeep of her properties. The house I rented still had the original windows and it was built in 1926! This woman is a nightmare! DO NO RENT FROM HER! | |
