| [12-Nov-2013] If you enjoy complete disregard for laws, constant harassment, and downright creepy behavior then rent from Douglas Campbell. If not, then learn from our mistake and avoid this man like the plague. He shows up whenever he wants without notice, despite our constant requests for a simple (and legally required) 48 hour notice. He tried to remove our children from the premises even though he was very aware that we had them before we moved in. He does these ridiculous inspections every couple months. The first time he found nothing but a piece of lint on the carpet and went ballistic, demanding to know my vacuuming schedule. He really just uses the inspections to harass you. When we informed him of an insect infestation he waited three months before he did anything and then all he did was put down some homemade concoction that didn't work. He is the next door neighbor and has in the contract that you cannot cover any windows. Ask him about the former tenants schedule and he will give you a creepily accurate account of all their comings and goings. I literally can't say enough about this man. Please, PLEASE, save yourself the stress and headaches this horrible landlord brings. | |
