| [21-Dec-2013] This landlord did five months of construction over my head, completely gutting and rebuilding the apartment directly above me, working every day, frequently even on weekends. The noise was completely unreasonable and unbearable and he refused to give me a rent reduction for causing such ongoing inconvenience and disrupting my ability to enjoy my living space. He thinks he can get away with violating tenant's rights because his wife is a lawyer. The apartment had a bedbug infestation following a rat infestation, yet he got his lawyer wife to legally harass me for the cost of the exterminator. He's got some delusion that he's a great landlord - in fact he tried to tell me that he was "the best landlord [I'd] ever have" when I was taking him to task for his abuses. He allowed a person with a labradoodle (large dog) to move in to the tiny apartment next door (across the wall from me) and did nothing to rectify the situation when the dog howled and barked all day long every time his owner left (which was frequently since his owner ran a restaurant) - this went on for months with multiple complaints from other tenants and neighbours and yet Mr Fabrizio did nothing and kept saying that there was no problem. He entered the apartment without permission and never gave the required 24 hours notice when he needed access - typically it was immediate access or only two hours notice by text message. This guy is a TOTAL slimebag. | |
