COMMENTS (1)
[06-Jan-2014] Overall the place was super clean upon moving in and a seemingly well kept up apartment until the roof started leaking, causing cracks in the ceiling and ruining a few rugs on different occasions and water damaging a sofa. The problem has persisted several months now with no resolution including being ignored by the landlord and even told me that he would not respond to requests after I had implemented actions to exercise my rights as a renter in order to hopefully resolve the issue. Its unclear to me if this landlord has tried to repair the leak and repair the ceiling that has started to grow mold and does not inform me of the attempts if any have been made. Based on the persistent leak and the lack of communication, I have to believe this landlord hasn't done much of anything. The maintenance guy came in once, unannounced, opening my door with a key while I was there. Not cool for respecting privacy. I do really like this place and would continue to live here if the repairs would be fixed. Other than that, completely absentee landlord. Not a great experience except for moving in.
