[14-Apr-2014] Certainly the worst landlord I have had. During our 20 month lease, we had to deal with the following problems:
-Complete refusal to deal with any problems in the house
-House was poorly maintained, with many latent problems not immediately apparent, including:
1. a leaky shower
2. non-functioning refrigerator
3 failing dryer that could not properly dry clothing
4. decaying outdoor shed that we were forced to demolish for safety with no assistance
5. poorly mounted electrical outlets that would not stay in place when plugging/unplugging electronics (clearly not installed by any professional)
-Confusing, poorly written lease with lots of "gotchas"--including fees for failing to repaint the entire house
-Deducted frivolous charges from the security deposit |
