[02-Apr-2016] Peter Davos was one of the worst landlords I have ever had. The shower in the bathroom was clogged, he hired 2 very shady looking guys who wiped sewage material all over my towels, on the walls, and did not even have the courtesy to tell me. It was stated in my lease that heating should be included, I had to live a whole entire winter without much heat, and it was hell. Peter does not respect your privacy, he would enter your apartment without any proper notification while you are still in your apartment. After one year, he increased my rent by 400$. My 5 neighbors, including me all were forced to move out just after 1 year due to insane rent hike, heating issues. He does not care because he only cares about money and there will always be desperate renters like me who are trying to find apartments in the sought after Brookline area. The realtors are in it with him because they get paid realtor's fee every time when someone has to leave after 1 year. This is a family trust building, so he gets away with a lot more than other businesses. Don't make the same mistake I did. Be aware of your rights if you have to rent from him. Report him when he violates your privacy, or do not provide heat. Do not be bullied into silence like I did. I really wish I reported him during the winter, but I was scared and new to town, and later on I was told that I have missed my opportunity. I hope other innocent people will not have to go through what I did. Shame on you Peter Davos.
