[06-Mar-2020] My wife is a professional cleaner and Jon Bota tried to keep her security deposit of a measly $1500. At the time she was a single mother of 5 small children (all girls). The whole neighborhood pitched in to help her move out and get the place clean and ready to hand over the keys. He took her to court over the $1500 deposit, which consisted of several trips downtown and missed days of work. After bullying a woman and her five children and threatening them, he ultimately was forced to pay the money back by the courts. I would recommend finding a different landlord, especially if you are a woman. I could go on about more things, but that was the most egregious.
