[06-Jul-2021] This is now the 4th apartment I have rented and lived in, and have never had, nor can I truly even begin to imagine a worse experience one could have so far already . This has been a nightmare since the day I signed my lease; when the property manager, if you want to call him that, Gary Torres (+1 (786) 731-7839) lied to me, and woefully incompetant. I have been trying to contact the supposed ‘property manager’, who doesn’t manage anything at all and is completely unreachable. He has also blocked my phone number, which I confirmed because when I call him, it goes directly to voicemail. But when a neighbor of mine here let my try him from her phone, rang all the way through as normal. I was finally able to get through to him, only because I called him from my office phone, and he told me he’s having trouble with the phone, which is why I apparently could not get through to him recently, even though that is the phone we were speaking on this morning. So he is clearly lying, AGAIN. Simply put, he is not doing his job, and Gary refuses to acknowledge or do anything about anything whatsoever. Or even call me back at all. And for him to block my phone number is absolutely outrageous and unacceptable. He’s also told me that he is the only person I can contact, which cannot be true. I frankly still cannot tolerate Gary blocking my phone number, which is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. I’ve reported Pentaurus, 33 Del Rio and Gary Torres to the HUD hotline for the state of Florida with regard to the ‘slumlord’ problems he’s given me.
