[04-Apr-2023] DO NOT RENT AT 5129 SOUTH HARPER, CHICAGO (HYDE PARK) More specifically, STAY AWAY from units 202, 402, 301, and 303. These are units adjacent to apartment 302. The person currently living in apt 302 personally knows the landlord so they get away with doing whatever they want to intimidate neighbors around them because they are not going anywhere since they personally know the owners and managers of the building. I received a letter back in January - and I suppose that other tenants received the same letter as well - warning me that the girl in 302 purposely does things in order to try to force other neighboring tenants to move out because she doesn't like having neighbors next to her. She is highly disturbed and weird as f*ck!! The girl in 302 follows my every move whenever I use water in my kitchen or bathroom. She will purposely interfere with water temperature and water pressure in order to make my showers and baths uncomfortable. She makes the hot water turn cold. She also does not sleep at night.....EVER.... and she makes all kinds of outrageous noises late at night which is disturbing to other neighbors around here. I wake up in the middle of the night to her doing God knows what!! DO NOT RENT from this landlord because they allow her to bully other tenants which is really bogus as hell.
