[31-Dec-2009] This woman showed up on the property without notice many times. If the rent was delayed in the mail and didn't arrive until the 2nd of the month, I received not just one demanding phone call, but several until she reached me, each with escalating tone, threats, and demands. It took her 2.5 years to fix the shower which was an issue at move in, then she increased my rent in retribution. For a window leak, she called me 12 times in one day to tell me to contact the repair person, who I contacted after the 1st call. When I moved she charged me for damage that was there when I moved in. Even had someone write a letter saying the damage wasn't there before, even though the previous tenants claimed responsibility for it. She recently bought a vacation home nearby and the improper visits were more frequent. I'd come out of the shower in a towel, and there she would be in in my back yard looking in the window. No notice, just there, tresspassing. I loved the house and didn't want to move, but after 6.5 years of her craziness, I couldn't take it anymore. The phone harassment got worse after I gave notice. She tried to schedule people to meet with me at times I told her I was physically moving. She got upset when I wouldn't talk to her while renting the U-haul early Sunday morning. She left very clear instructions for the check-out on my voicemail, then after I complied, she called me and said I checked out with the wrong person, wanting me to repeat it. Claimed a miscommunication, but the clarity of the first instruction would indicate she simple changed her mind. Communication was always very difficult. She also owns the property next door. When the roof tiles blew off and damaged the tenant's car, she called me and wanted me to get in the middle of it. First she wanted me to verify the damage to his car, then she wanted me to come up with reasons that she could evict him. I found myself defending someone I don't even like, and refuse to be involved with her plan. She would act like she wanted to be your best friend, then flip to controlling landlord in the same sentence. Invassive, controlling, vindictive. Beware!
