[06-Jul-2011] We moved here about two years ago. Our first red flag should have gone up when the refused to show us the apartment we would actually be living in; they showed us a beautiful show apartment. When we moved in they put us over the loading deck and next to the garbage chute directly across from the parking garage. We have had no privacy, they send trucks in at 5am EVERY single day and our apartment smells like trash. Also, the apt we moved into looked nothing like the show apt. Its about half the size and didnt have any of the promised features.

Also, on top of that the construction on the building never EVER stops. For 14 months we had a scaffold in front of our windows (that by the way have not had screens for almost a year now that they refuse to put back in). So there are creepy loud construction workers looking into my apartment CONSTANTLY. They we also drilling underneath our bedroom window singing and blasting music for all 14 of those months. That construction has ended only to have a new project starting right underneath our apartment. Right now they are working on the business center directly underneath us. So now there is drilling up into the floor under my bed EVERY morning at 7am. We are both students who work full time and we can never sleep.

On top of all this, the office people are rude and don't like to help you. The maintenance staff takes FOREVER to come fix anything so do not be fooled by the 24-hour service they promise. Our dishwasher has been broken for over a month now and when we call to ask when maintenance will be coming to fix things they are rude and they tell you it was a computer glitch and they will be right up. We have also had exterminators coming to our door at odd hours asking us if we need our cockroaches taken care of. We haven't personally had any infestation in out unit but we've heard horror stories from our neighbors.

They also promise a secure premise since its a "gated community." The gates are always broken and the doors never lock, we actually found a homeless man hanging out in the lobby one night when coming home from work late. Also, another night we came home to find the "security door" was taped open so you don't need to use your key.

This is by far the most horribly managed establishment that I have ever come across. Especially for the ridiculously high rent for the area which by the way is constantly being raised. This year it was almost $300 more than the last PER MONTH.

Also, i forgot to mention the robberies in this "SECURE" building. I have heard multiple reports of apartments being robbed and when reported to mgt they lie and say the person lost their keys?!? Because most people have not only their address but their apt number on their key chain... OK!!! The "SECURE" lot they promise has had multiple break ins since the gates never lock.

The fabulous pool they advertise is never open and the gates aren't locked so its basically a public pool for the neighborhood and has very restricted hours so you cant even get a workout in before work.

The only good thing about this place was that it had four walls I guess. Although the majority of the time I was afraid that the drills were coming through the walls...

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! HIDDEN FEES AND RISING PRICES LEFT AND RIGHT!!!!
