ADDITIONAL COMMENTS (1)
[29-Apr-2012] 1) Squirrels have infested the roof/attic, causing droppings and other particles to fall from the eaves and into the house through open windows (windows were open because it was late summer and hot inside, now open again as the weather warms up in the spring). The landlord was aware of this as of October 2011 and has yet to do anything about it, ignoring repeated requests from myselfand other tenants.

2) Another tenant reported upon moving out on 25/04/2012 that BED BUGS originating from the walls of the property had infested her mattress. The landlord TOOK NO ACTION, except to tell me that "the reason she got bed bugs is because she's a f---ing slob", which she isn't - she cleans weekly.

3) The roof is leaking over the garage, causing a hazard to the tenants who live downstairs in the basement and must enter through the garage. The leak/weakened roof is directly above the garage-to-house door which is used by the downstairs tenants. Also, eavestroughs are clogged and overflow when it rains/snow melts. This causes a hazard
when snow/ice accumulate in the eavestroughs over walkways. As a result, the eavestroughs are bending/warping and being pulled off the side of the house.

4) The grass has been cut only twice over the course of my tenancy (once in September 2011 and once in October 2011), and has yet to be cut in 2012. Other outdoor waste (leaves, twigs, branches, dead plants, etc...) has not been removed at all over the course of our tenancy, becoming very unsightly and moldy. This appears to be in violation of Hamilton's city by-laws for property maintenance (max lawn length is 21cm).
