[05-Jul-2012] Landlord regularly showed up with no warning to do construction in the basement all day, or other things in the garage, went in my room without warning when I wasn't there, (and my roommate's, where he also confiscated things,) repeatedly left the ac on with the windows open, disrespected me in conversation, and was generally disagreeable to deal with. We had no real lease, but the document they came up with did not even have his name on it. He is technically the landlord's father, but since all of my interaction with the family seemed to go through Greg, I am listing him. Aside from the constant privacy violations and verbal degredation, you can expect him to hound you for rent checks despite not yet having the amount to pay or a set due date. During my stay we had infestations of flies, ants, spiders, rats, and mice, most of which he blamed me and my roommate for. The hot water handle on the shower was broken for almost a year, hot water spewing out from the handle whenever I turned it on. This is a minor grievance comparatively, but it should be noted that I burned myself trying to turn it off. If you are a fan of cold showers, insults, accusations, and invasions, this could be the landlord for you.
